Jackson State head football coach Rick Comegy has been through a lot this year, and most of it has been well-documented here and elsewhere. So you can understand his confusion in his post-game remarks on the Tigers’ 13-5 loss to the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
“I clearly thought we had the better football team,” Jackson State coach Rick Comegy said. “I don’t think the better football team won today.”
Hmmm. Maybe a 16-point win to accompany control of the Eastern Division might have done the trick.
