Is Jackson State so bad, that if your squad loses to them, it’s apparently worth slashing the coaching staff’s tires?
At Alabama State, the fans might be classless enough to make this true.
Barlow, offensive coordinator Richard Moncrief and football operations director Craig Payne each had one tire slashed. Receivers coach Roger Totten had two slashed.
The cars were left in the parking lot in front of the ASU football offices, located next to the university’s campus police station.
Yeah, Alabama State isn’t as good as many people thought they would be after the first quarter of the season. But if you want Barlow out of there so bad, why make it more difficult for him to leave the campus?

This is just sad. I am a JSU alum, and I am happy that we won HC. However, no one should have his tires slashed after a lost. As a JSU fan I wouldn’t have even thought about slashing Coach Bell tires when he was coach, and for an ASU fan to do that is just pathetic and puts a negative light on the rest of the fans at ASU.

Agreed. I know fans can be passionate, but destruction of property is just so beneath anyone affiliating with an institution of higher education. Even if you are just a fan of the football team or an enemy, at least let a man get home to his family comfortably.
