1. South Carolina State – (10-1, 8-0) The Bulldogs maul North Carolina A&T for the finishing touches on a second-straight undefeated season in the MEAC.
2. Prairie View A&M – (7-1, 6-0) – A perfect conference season for the Panthers ends with a convincing defeat of UAPB.
3. Florida A&M – (8-3, 6-2) – Rattlers miss the FCS Playoffs, but drub the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats in the Florida Classic.
4. Norfolk State (7-4, 6-3) – Close win over Winston-Salem State for the Spartans.
5. Alabama A&M (6-4, 3-3) – The Bulldogs secure a berth in the SWAC Championship Game with a win over Mississippi Valley.
6. Grambling State (6-4, 4-2) - IDLE
7. Southern (6-3, 3-2) - IDLE
8. Bethune-Cookman (5-6, 4-4) Wildcats get blasted in the Florida Classic, but the Marching Wildcats made it close in the halftime show.
9. University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff (5-4, 3-3) – The Golden Lions will finish with at least a .500 record despite loss to Prairie View.
10. Hampton (5-6, 3-5) The Pirates fall to the Morgan State Bears in the season finale.
