There have only been three quarterbacks in NFL history drafted in the first round out of historically black colleges and universities; Tennessee State’s Eldridge Dickey, Grambling’s Doug Williams, and Alcorn State’s Steve McNair.
And, as ESPN’s Len Pasquarelli eloquently and honestly writes, McNair may be the last.
