Elizabeth City State University guard Anthony Hilliard, whom we have already determined is amazing, became the second men’s basketball player in ECSU history to collect more than 1000 career rebounds in a 77-65 home win over the Livingstone Blue Bears.
Hilliard finished with 19 points and 16 rebounds, good for his 51st career double-double. He joins Oscar Smith in the 1000-rebound club, who first accomplished the feat during the 1968 season.
