Alcorn State alumnus and Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver has released his debut children’s book “Quickie Makes the Team.” The 32-page full color story about a young boy trying to make a local football team was conceptualized and written by Driver, and proceeds from the book will go to his foundation.
Driver hopes that “Quickie Makes the Team” evolves into a series, but is contemplating themes for his second book. Rumors are spreading that his next work, “How Many Coaches Ain’t Here No More?” will hit stands before the end of the recruiting season.
