Alabama A&M’s homecoming is this weekend, and it will be a battle of the Eastern-division leading Bulldogs against the Western-division leading Grambling State Tigers. The game could be a lot closer than the experts predict, and there’s a real possibility that the solid A&M offense could overwhelm the stiff Tiger defense.

But are you more amped for that, or the Battle of the Bands that’s going down at halftime? A&M is promoting the battle more than the game itself, so it would appear that the Marching Maroon and White might have something tight cooked up for big game.

I’m more into games than band battles, but I do look forward to them. Unfortunately, I’ve never had the privilege of hearing A&M’s band live. Anybody care to enlighten me on if they can keep up with the world-famous Tiger band?

You can get the discussion jumped off here, or in the Band section of the forums, but one way or another, I needs to know who’s going to kill it this weekend.

On the field, and in the stands.
