CIAA – Virginia Union vs. Bowie State, Saturday, October 25, 2008., Bowie, MD, 1:00 p.m.- With last week’s loss against the Virginia State Trojans, the Panthers need to win every game to have a chance at the Eastern Division crown. It starts against a dangerous Bowie State squad.
MEAC – Hampton vs. South Carolina State, Saturday, October 25, 2008., Orangeburg, SC, 2:00 p.m. - It’s the game of the year in the MEAC conference, with the winner likely to become the 2008 football champion.
SIAC – Kentucky State vs. Tuskegee, Saturday, October 25, 2008., Tuskegee, AL., 1:00 p.m. - There’s nothing overly special about this game, as most of the SIAC’s scheduled contests are upper-tier teams against the bottom feeders. However, the Golden Tigers have an unbeaten streak of two years headed into the contest, so that puts them in nomination.
SWAC – Southern vs. Prairie View A&M, Saturday, October,25, 2008., Houston, TX., 6:00 p.m. - An apology to all of the fans hoping to vote for the Magic City Classic, but the Jaguar-Panther match-up has SWAC football championship implications in the Western Division.
