2008-09 SIAC Preseason All-Conference Basketball Teams

The SIAC has announced its 2008-09 preseason All-Conference men’s and women’s basketball teams, and predicted orders of finish. Benedict College, the 2007-08 men’s champions were voted by conference coaches and sports information directors as the favorites for the upcoming season, and are represented on the all-conference squad by forwards Michael Holmes and Bennie Lewis.

Kentucky State is the predicted conference champion on the women’s side, with two representatives, forward Mattie Jones and guard Latrice Watkins, named to the first and second teams.
