In order to truly become the voice of the young people, I’ve decided to ignore the fact that I’m a washed up alumnus and create a Facebook page for the HBCU Sports Blog. The idea is to get students at HBCU’s interested in reading about and talking about black college sports, particularly since they’ll be washed-up alumni one day.
If you have friends who no longer utilize classic means of conversation (telephone, email, walking down the hall to speak) encourage them to check me out. And if your dorm doesn’t have Internet access, don’t worry.
Visitation privileges are just a couple of weeks away.
