Eunice Elliott is the new brains behind the SWAC’s efforts to become a more visible and viable collegiate athletics conference. She is the recently hired Director of Branding and External Operations for the conference, and will oversee corporate sponsorships, marketing and special events for the SWAC.

Hopefully, Elliott’s first project will be the woeful SWAC website. As one of only two Division I black college conferences, the SWAC should be doing much better than their current iteration. Even the MEAC has gotten up to speed on Web 2.0, and while not as aesthetically pleasing, the CIAA and SIAC at least make info and features consistently available on the web.

Good luck, Eunice. At least you have a product that does half of your work for you.
